This thriving, entrepreneurial company is seeking a sharp, poised Associate to provide research and recommendations on potential investment opportunities in the United States, Europe, Asia and Canada.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Based in the Toronto office and working with teams in New York and California, the successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of high-growth companies and investment opportunities, providing due diligence and recommendations to the CEO.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• University degree
• 5-7 years experience analyzing high-growth companies, with the ability to build financial models and perform due diligence assessments
• Minimum 3 years analyst experience with a buy side or sell side firm
• Proven strength of quantitative and analytical skills
• Knowledge of balance sheets and securities
• Outstanding business instincts with a clear grasp of business and contextual drivers that make a deal successful
• Superior communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a demanding environment
• Able to challenge status quo with the ability to offer opinion regarding investment ideas in a professional and constructive manner
• Self-reliant with a focus on delivering results
• Ability to travel throughout North America, Europe and Asia as required
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with professionals at all levels
